Recommendations for new bigscreen TV

I will be purchasing the Toshiba TV.

I would like to ask your recommendation, however, on whether to purchase the Toshiba TP61H95 (newest cost quote is $4,500 Cndn) vs. upgrading to the Theaterwide TW65H80 (cost quote is $7,500 Cndn). I am impressed with both, but debating whether it is worth the extra $3,000+? I guess the main impetus to go for the Theatrewide would be to be prepared for the future broadcasting of digital which, I understand, will be based on the 16:9 ratio format. My question to you is, if I do purchase the TP61H95 (which we are leaning toward), will the entire screen be used (or will it be cropped at the top and bottom) when they begin broadcasting in digital. I understand it will be mandatory to broadcast in digital for US broadcasters by the year 2006? As you know, most of the channels we watch in Canada are American based.

You also advise that it may be worth waiting for future Toshiba models. Are there going to be any new models replacing the TP61H95 that would be worth waiting for?
