A110 and dual layer discs Posted by Craig S [IP: 152.206.95.251] on December 30, 1998 at 22:41:30: In Reply to: A110 and dual layer discs posted by Tom L on December 30, 1998 at 07:40:52: I have seen this very annoying effect with my Pioneer DV-414 and "Robocop".I think it must be due to the layer change.This effect is hardly noticeable with Opposite-Tracking discs.I would assume this is because the layer change is quicker than with RSDL.This annoyance can be corrected by using a simple buffer to play the movie while the laser changes layers.I fail to see why this was not included in the format from the beginning.
