I was initially impressed with the wega system with the perfectly flat screen and all. However, having done some research trying to decide if I want to spend the big bucks for HDTV I came across some interesting alternatives. Primarily the Panasonic CT-32XF55. If you shop around you can get it for less than the equivelant wega. Not only that but it is Digital ready and capable of displaying SDTV with a set top box which you could buy now or later. But as for the now, with its integrated scan doubler the picture is superb. No more scan lines. Check it out next to a wega and you will see the difference. No the screen is not perfectly flat but it is close with Panasonic's Superflat system. Check it out before you decide.
