Pioneer DV-414 Glitch

You guessed right. Although most DVD's try to do the layer change at a fade out portion of the film to make it as seemless as possible, sometimes this just isn't possible (ARMAGEDON is another example where this happens in the middle of a scene). The stepping through a few frames and the time it takes does seem a bit odd to me as we use the very same disc as a demo for our dealer (and consumer) shows, and I've never noticed it taking any longer than a second or so.
