help please

I have a DVD-rom on my computer and an MPEG card to decode the video and send it to my television. Recently I bought Sphere on DVD. When I went to play it the program came up saying it couldn't find the disc. I popped in another movie and it worked fine, so I figured it was probably a bad disc, but when I went in My Computer and looked at the disc it read it fine. I exchanged the disc and got the same error. It's a dual-layered disc from Warner Brothers. I have other WB movies that work, but I'm not sure if any of my other DVD's are duel-layered or not.

Any help is apperciated,
