DVL-700 Problem with Dual layer DVD's

My computer can't get through Tomorrow Never Dies SE. Its listed as RSDL. Does this mean the entire disc is "reverse" or just the second layer? Where is the "break" ?

Or is it a joke for me to expect to read ANY DVD with my 2nd generation, computer DVD drive ?
