Hi Juan - I work for Sharp in the U.S. The XV-C10 is Sharp's new low-cost compact video projector - for both home use, as well as for portable 'business' video-based presentations.

It is reasonably priced, has a wide selection of inputs (including composite video, S-Video, *and* component video) and offers good performance for the money (approx. $2000 suggested list in the U.S.) If you need a good, basic, low-cost projector to 'informally' play back video tapes, laser/DVD discs, or watch TV and sports programming (using separate TV/Cable tuner box), it's not a bad unit. If you are installing a true home-theater and need the best in image quality, brightness and compatibility, then, you would want to consider something a little higher-end.

If you would like info on this model, please let me know, and I will be glad to mail and/or fax the spec sheet to you. (Also, the Sharp U.S. web site - www.sharp-usa.com has complete info on it.)

(By the way, may I ask what your application would be for this projector, and also which dealer showed it to you?)

Thanks for your interest,

- Bruce (Sharp U.S.)
