Sony has been giving me the run around. I have now heard from 7 people in this newsgroup with the exact same problem. Sony denies that there is any problem with the set, and had the nerve to call the bar "normal" because they say you can't see it on normal programs. I beg to differ, you can see it, it is just very subtle. I have had 3 techs look at it and no one knows what is causing it. I would report this problem to sony at 18002227669. If you get a chance ask for katarina at ext 6020. She is the sony at your service rep. Tell her about your problem. She is familiar with my case and it should speed things along. I would like to have my TV be replaced, but I have a feeling sony will fight that as hard as possible. I'll post another message about this 2 month saga when I finish the next chapter.
