Question for Sony 36XBR owner... Thanks in advance

Posted by Lincoln C. [IP: 206.217.184.17] on January 28, 1999 at 20:25:17:

If a straight line is draw from the top to the bottom part of left and right side of the TV, I think the line is tilted to the outside at both end. (eg. if a straight line is draw from the top to botton at the left hand side of the TV, and the straight line is 3 inches distance to the left edge of the TV, one can see that the center point of the straight line is 3 inches to the left
edge of the TV, but both the end point is now 2 and half inches to the edge instead. )

What should I do? Should I return it? Or ask an ISF technician to fix it? But my friend told me that all TV has this kind of problem and just stick with it. What do you do? It is only a few day left before 30 days return policy (I think?)! Other than this, the picture is great. Am I asking too much? The TV is manufactured in Dec. of 1998. Thanks for your advance.
