So it sounds like 96/24 passing from the analog and digital outs on the 414 is possible which just confirms what I was thinking about it. On the 9000es pre/pro it has a dvd coax. and optical input that will not downconvert the 96/24 so I can get 96/24 from my 414. The cd - analog input on the 9000es is not a straight through analog bypass so I imagine it will not pass 96/24.
