I'm starting to see our confusion on the matter. I believe you have a non-U.S. unit. That could explain the different laws governing copyrights. You stated p. 30, but in my manual it's page 26. You have a quote from your manual "set the output to 96 Khz for connection to an AV amplifier compatible with 96 Khz linear PCM." My manual does not state this anywhere and I do have a Dec. manufactoring date on it. It is one of the newest production units available. What country are you in? I'm in the U.S. obviously.
