Panasonic CT-27G13 vs. JVC AV27950 Posted by DaveY [IP: 204.244.99.70] on January 30, 1999 at 18:11:54: In Reply to: Panasonic CT-27G13 vs. JVC AV27950 posted by Dominique Laberge on January 29, 1999 at 21:38:43: For an extra US$100 (list), you can get a Panasonic model (CT27G33) that has a few more features likes a S-video input jack and a 2-tuner Picture-in-Picture. This model is the best 27 inch Panasonic TV that does not have the pricey, but high quality SuperFlat picture tube. IMO, I would pick a Panasonic TV over a JVC. IMO, the Panasonics have the edge on picture tube quality and are reportedly more reliable than JVC as well. IMO, I think that a S-video jack and 600+ lines of resolution are mandatory these days. Especially when DVD hits the mainstream crowd. In case if you are wondering, component video input is the next step up. Have you checked out other brands like Toshiba and Hitachi? Good luck. Dave
