toshiba and hitachi HDTV-ready

Does anyone know if the Toshiba TP61H95 and the Hitachi 60SDX88B can display true high definetion resolution(1080i) with a hdtv set top box? I know for a fact that they can receive 1080i signal with the box but it doesn't mean it will display at that resolution. Their website is not very specific about this matter.
