Any info on next gen HD RPTVs

Its 7" CRTs limit its horizontal resolution on HD material to around probably 1200 lines at most. It definitely has upconversion artifacts if you watch closely. I don't though hold that against it necessarily, since all of them do. I am working on the assumption that I will be purchasing an external line doubler (probably a Faroudja DVP-2200) to use with whatever I buy. It definitely has less advanced electronics than something like the Mitsubishi 73903 (and substantially less resolution of course.) But the Mitsubishi has the issue of its proprietary HD input against it (i.e. no simultaneous support of progressive NTSC and HD input.) So, for me, I will at least hold out for an 8" CRT machine, which the next generation Toshiba is rumored to have. I would like to hold out for the next version of the 73903, but it looks like it might be very late in the year, and I'm not sure I want to wait that long.
