No, I'm using a Denon 5600. I haven't heard about any incompatibility problems with these two components. I have posted my problem in other forums, and the only response I've gotten, from people with Denon receivers and Toshiba DVD players, is "my player doesn't do that--you should exchange yours". I've been meaning to call Toshiba about it; I think I will this week.
