Component video output vs. S-Video output

A "no-brainer":

If your TV has an S-video input, USE IT! if your VCR is MacroVision "insensitive", and it doesn't have an S-video input, use the composite video feed.

Question: do you mean "composite" when you mention "component"? the COMPOSITE feed is a SINGLE RCA JACK, the "component" feed, as I understand things, is THREE feeds (two chrominance and one Luminance).
