COMPOSITE TO S-VIDEO CONVERSION

Posted by The Game Q [IP: 206.175.142.240] on July 22, 1999 at 20:35:13
Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

The launch of the Sega Dreamcast is less than two months away, with that said I want to be able to take full advantage of the systems s-video capabilities. However, I only have composite inputs on my television. Buying a $500-$700 dollar televison isn't in my budget. Is there a way to do a conversion. Better still, is S-video really that much better? I've been reading conflicting articles and opinions at various sites. If someone knows how to do a conversion please point me in the right direction. I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in a possible composite to s-video conversion.
