Panasonic CT-32XF55
Posted by Jim [IP: 4.16.168.78] on July 25, 1999 at 22:07:43 I have just got a panasonic DTV compatible CT-32XF55. Because of the internal line doubler, the picture looks better than the SONY XBRs. However when I played the video essential disc, I noticed two things. I haven't seen these tests on XBR TVs, but the SONY literature certainly makes a big deal about the precise focusing of the FD-trinitron tube. Is the FD trinitron tube truely much better than the XF panablack tube? I understand every tube has some degree of inherited imperfection, but I just don't know what is the acceptable amount. Shall I return the TV or call for service? Your opinion and advice is greatly appreciated.
