I've located a television/monitor repair site where a method for the conversion is given. Basically, it involves locating the point on the board where the y and c lines are separate. Once these lines are located, one simply needs to tap into said lines with a female s-video connector. I've already begun searching my board-a Samsung product-and have found various y and c points. I would imagine that its just a matter of finding out which one of these lines I must tap into. Also when I find the name of the site I went to I'll post it here for anyone interested in television/monitor repair conversion and such.
