Poor quality picture from DVD

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95; IE4 SP1 Aim Package Version 1.07.4):

Phil,

Try this:

1. move the DVD player away from the TV.

2. plug the DVD player into a different outlet than the TV.

Your problem seems to be that the horizontal of the TV is getting into the signal to the TV some how.
