Big TVs for home theater...help!

Using Mozilla/4.61 [en] (Win98; I):

Hello! I am looking to buy a giant TV for my new home theater. However, I don't know if I want to go projection, and I definetly can't afford the plasma type. (I'm not an expert so I don't know if my terminology is right.) Anyway, a couple questions:

1) Are there any reasonably priced giant regular-type TVs? Prices? Where to get?

2) How about good rear-projection?

3) Any recommendations for someone like me, who is looking to start a home theater? (I have DVD, speakers, receiver, everything except a good TV.) Space isn't a problem, but price could be. I can afford about $2000.00 - $2500.00

I suppose that's enough for now! Thanks so much for your help!
