Help Samsung DVD

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

Here is my problem. When I am playing DVD movies om my Samsung 905 they will all of a sudden start skipping and stop the player, Then I have to cut it off and wait a minute or two then it will work again. I live in a place where I don't have A/c and it is very hot and humid this time of year could it be moisture causing this problem or should I take my player and trade it for another one. Thanks in Advance for any help on this matter.
