Help Samsung DVD

WHERE does Samsung "reside" in your home? is it "stuffed" in a closed cabinet with little-to-none free-air flow? try relocating it to a more "open-air" location and see if that helps. If giving Samsung more "breathing room" doesn't help the situation, RETURN IT FOR AN EXCHANGE. If the exchange exhibits the same problem, RETURN IT FOR A REFUND and get another player (i.e. Panasonic A120). That's my take. Hope it helps... :) Ken P.S. do you have SURGE PROTECTORS WITH EMI/RFI FILTERS feeding your A/V gear? if not, INVEST IN ONE ASAP! it's also possible power-line "garbage" (surges, noise) is giving Samsung its' "headaches". NOTE: ** DO NOT "GO CHEAP" HERE!! ** a decent EMI/RFI filtering surge protector will carry a STARTING PRICE of $30-40. Get the most "suppression power" with filtering you can afford. :)
