Best DVD Player

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; AOL 4.0; Windows 98; Compaq; DigExt):
I recently purchased a Hitachi Ultravision SBX 50", and I love it.
I now am in the market for a DVD player, am looking for suggestions for which would work best for my RPTV. I would like to keep the price $500.00 or below. Am going to purchase an entire surround sound system, later this year.
