Connecting DVD to A/V receiver

Using Mozilla/4.61 [en] (Win95; U):

Just connect the player's RCA coax "DIGITAL OUT" to the receiver's RCA coax "DIGITAL IN" and ENJOY! However, you may want to also conenct the STANDARD ANALOG L/R OUTPUTS to one of the receiver's line inputs (i.e. VCR2, DVD/VDP) since there are some DVD videos with MONOPHONIC soundtracks and your Yamaha may not let you select "all speaker 'stereo'" mode with a digital input.
