I had a 701 also, sent it back to 800.com. It had a variety of problems, had to unplug it a few times. The kiss of death was a dual layer disc, Pulp Fiction. The machine seemed lost, hunting back and forth in time. It refused to play everthing except video essentials. If this machine cannot navigate dual layers I'll swap it out or get my money back. Constant rebooting is not an option.
