Philips 64PP9901 HDTV RP

Using Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.01; Windows 95):

Does anyone have this unit, or seen it in action? Rumour has it it's very impressive. Unlike most other so-called "HD" RP's, this one has 9" CRTs and front surface mirrors, so the pictures supposed to be significantly better.

Also, does anyone know if Philips is replacing it with a newer model anytime soon (this is often done in the fall)?

It's time to replace the Sony Profeel monitor I've been using as a TV these past 15 yrs, and I'm looking to take the plunge into big-screen and HD TV.
