BTW, $300 is approximately what you would pay for a single repair including the home visit. My old 27" TV had such a warranty and it would have cost me about $200 for the repair it needed - ya gotta think the new TV would be more. That said, the profit in extended warranties is enormous, so see if you could get a similar warranty elsewhere for less money (call around).
