I would go with the Sony. I say this because I am an A/V Tech at a university, and we are pulling Barcos (2100, 3100, and 808) out of 7 rooms and replacing them. They have given us nothing but trouble. Besides, they are large, expensive and clumsy in design.

I have a Sony 1041q at home, and we have other Sonys installed in the field, and all operate without incident.

Barcos just don't age well.
