I just checked the below linked website to read about the k520. I just bought a A120. The K520 is listed as a 3rd generation DVD player (which the A120 is) and also had about the same release date as the A120. I looked through its specs and it looks to me to be the A120 with the added Karaoke functions. The K520 is a more expensive machine, I'd keep it, it does not look like you are losing anything, just gaining. (BTW the specs of this machine on the webpage listed it as having Coax and Optical Digital outputs are you sure it did not have a Coax digital output?)
