ISF claibration is a little more complex than that and requires a colorimeter thingy and access to the service menu to adjust things like grey scale, overscan and other technical stuff as well as the user-adjustable controls.

Self calibration with VE or AVIA can get you some of the way, but the complete job requires tools and training beyond most consumers.
