SONY DVPS530D audio sync probs

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows NT):

I recently purchased the sony dvps530d dvd player and after 5 dvds noticed the audio sync problem. I currently have my player connected to my older TV through the standard 3 RCA plugs.

I have contacted Sony and have supposidly been put on the fix list. Does anyone have any more information on this?? It seems by reading other posts that there was a fix that didnt quite solve the problem back in July and now their working on a final fix. Is this correct??

Does anyone know what the latest firmware should be and how to view it??
