Rear Projection LCD Vs. CRT TV

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

I'm seriously evaluating the possibility of buying either a Wega (36XBR250) sony or even perhaps the intriguing Samsung PLH403W, I wonder if anybody in the forum had a chance to evaluate them side by side.
I'm very impressed with the quality of the Sony but it really gets me the fact that most (95%) of DVD's movies do only 16:9 or like format.
It looks likeyou're really wasting 40% of the screen on that.
The samsung is 16:9 but I'm not sure it will do DTV later on . . .
Feedback is appreciated.
Opinions of the Sysop's is also welcome!
