Am I the only one bothered by this

Using Mozilla/4.7 [en] (Win95; I):

I was just about to purchase a mitsubishi projection HDTV when I read the "warning" on the last page of the literature. It stated that no more than 15% of the TV's use should be with regular 4x5 programming (regular tv) otherwise the black bars surrounding the viewing area would burn into the tubes. They suggested watching such programming in extended viewing mode-distortion and all!! I find this extrememly disturbing as there is not enough HDTV nor do I watch enough dvds to make this work! (Basically I would have to watch 2 movies a day just to watch the 1/2 hour evening news!) I am now totally put off from purchasing a HDTV projection unit. Such "warnings" should be prominently displayed or mentioned by salespersons!
