Panasonic VCR error message - help please

Using Mozilla/4.61 [en] (WinNT; U):

Hi, I have a Panasonic 950 S-VHS recorder and currently when left in timer record mode it will drop out of that mode with F04 showing on the display (it will record some programs, but it won't record programs after the F04, so it isn't in timer-record mode without the display showing it). Can anyone help decoding the (I'm assuming) error code? (Model = NV-HS950B).
