Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

My apartment manager is finally letting me get a digital satellite! GOODBYE, garbage looking TCI Digital crap! My real question is I read that Direct TV and others can legally broadcast local stations now. Direct TV has stated a different dish and receiver will be needed. Sears and CC have never even heard of these new components. Should I just get what's out or has anyone heard when the newest version will be coming? I've waited long enough and I want my DTV(dss). Will my investment be obsolete in a short while or will it take the dish manufactorers a year or so to bring out these new receiver/dish combos? Thanks everyone. I posted this question, this morning, and the server said it was accepted and I was posting multiple posts. Obviously, the server did not post my question as it said it would if I received a multiple post statement. Here's hoping it posts this time.
