Macrovision

I surmise that your VCR has a "high threshold of pain", so to speak, where Macrovision is concerned. If this is indeed a "problem", I suggest GETTING A NEW TV with a set of RCA inputs (and hopefully an S-Video IN jack, too!). They're not that expensive. :) Yes, all DVDs, AFAIK, ARE "macrovisioned". However, I've been able to MAKE BEAUTIFUL TAPES of a couple of DVDs using my RCA Hi-Fi VCR. I chalk it up to my VCR having a "thick skin", so to speak, where Macrovision is concerned. :) Of course, I have NO INTENTION of recording DVDs "as a matter of course" - I just did it as an EXPERIMENT. ;) Ken
