HELP... 32" Panasonic Superflat

Using Mozilla/4.04 [en]C-SBIS-NC404 (Win95; U):

I just got this TV and for the most part I really like it, but... I've noticed that at some points there seems to be some distortion in the picture, like colors don't blend together and it almost looks like some kind of dull blurry motion within parts of the picture. This occurrs most of the time when I'm looking at white backgrounds like walls in a room or looking at an outside scene like a sunset its really noticable. Is this "dot crawl"? can I fix it. I'm debating wheter I should return this set for another. Any recommendations for a high quality 32-36" tv in the approximate $1,000 price range?
