Should we go digital all the way

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win98; I):

I would like to get your opinion on the following question.

With more and more digital display technology (LCD, Plasma, DLP...) and the fact that Computers, DVD, SDB and HDTV are digital sources converted to analog signal before their output connectors. Would their be interest at the consumer level to have a full digital path to their Home Entertainment System?
