problem watching DVDs on my TV

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98):

I recently bought a Creative PC-DVD Encore 6X with a DXR-3 decoder board

I have hooked the decoder board so that I could watch movies on my TV

Some titles that I have bought I can watch on my TV with no problems such as Antz, Half-Baked, and Conan: the Barbarian.

Some of the titles, such as Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, and Friday, will play on my TV for a short while and the video will cut completely and all I get is a black screen though the audio still works

Is this a problem with the DVD? or is it some other problem. Please ask if you need more info
