I agree with the first posting, go to a cabinet maker. The only problem is the expense, so figure on a cabinet that can be used for other TVs over time.

My wife and i are remodelling a library and the subject of the TV came up. Being the guy I wanted it as big as possible and we settled out on a the SONY 36XBR, the advantage of which is the extra inches. Why? BEcause in a few years when things are 16:9 that cabinet you find for a 40" wide TV will fit a 40-43" diagnol TV. Go to your Circuit City or whatever, and check out the SONY 34XBR HDTV. Looks great but wouldn't it be better bigger?
