Yes, I was refering to the firmware upgrade to fix the layer/chapther skip problem. The unit is still under parts warranty, but it irks me that with an acknowledged (although not by Panasonic) problem they still charge labor. If the unit was totally out of warranty it'd be another matter. Have the dvdresource article but was looking for more leverage, since I don't have a repair center nearby and will have to ship it to them. Did talk to their customer support and got a letter for a free "estimate". Think I'll have to call them back and be a bit more firm in what I would like.
