Start up system

Some time ago I posted a message asking for recommendations for beginning to build a system on a budget. This is where I am at today. If anyone has any thoughts or comments I would be delighted to hear them. I wanted to get separate components and I was thinking of getting an ADCOM GFA5300 amp 80wattsx2 and an ADCOMGTP450 Tuner/Preamp and also the ADCOM GCD700 5CD Changer with a pair of HALES Revelation Two speakers. I can get this system for under $3000 which is the upper limit on my budget. I like ADCOM's Amp and Tuner/pre-amp, I don't know about the cd player and I am still doing some research. I heard the HALES at the store using the ADCOM amp/preamp playing a John Coltrane CD and I thought the sound was rich and clean. Does anyone have any experience or comments regarding HALES?
