My preference in home-brew cables is a twisted pair of RS test lead wire... amazing what a good looking (and sounding) cable you can make with a power drill!

: I want to make up my own interconnect cables using Intercomp RG58A/U, 20
: awg stranded core & shielded, type CL2 50 ohm. Is this cable ok to use, will I get good sound quality from them? I believe it is silver coated copper strands.
