For an audio-only receiver I feel you are just fine with either one. I prefer the bass of the Denon, however at a bit of sacrifice in "sweetness" of the midrange. I would base my selection on the dealer support and service should you have a problem down the road.

: I am in the market for a new 2-channel reciever and am considering the Yamaha RX-596 and the Denon DRA-375RD. Any opinons? Is the Yamaha unit worth the extra money?
