Bi-amping my Klipsch

I have an Onkyo 939 and am considering biamping the front channels (Klipsch KLF30's) with the Onkyo M504 on the low side. Will I need an active crossover to get the full effect of biamping or will the passive crossover built into the speakers suffice? Also exactly where would I inject the amp? Just plug it into the mail L&R preouts? Most importantly, will I hear a difference? I would get the amp from an Onkyo rep so returning it would be difficult. Thanks for your help?
