Right now I am looking to audition the Paradigm Monitor 5 and the Tannoy M3. With the limited dealers in my area these seem like my best options. Both are floor standers in the $500 range. Don't think I can go up to $700 for the Monitor 7's. Funny thing about money, I never seem to have enough. :)
If i decide on one of these speakers, do you think they would do fine without a sub? My room is 12.5ft by 14ft approx. Do you think I should consider adding a sub later? Possibly something like the Energy ES-8? Thanks for your help!
