: Looking for any opinions, good or bad, about Pioneer's PD-F19 Elite 300 disc changer.

: Build quality
: Sound quality

: Thanks!

Scott,

About two weeks ago I bought a PDF-19 for $549 from my local elite dealer. The build quality is outstanding; the mechanism is silent and quick. Most of my discs are cd-r copies and most players will occasionally hang up at the end. Not once has the Elite done that. But best of all is the sound quality. I used to be convinced that all players sound the same; not anymore. The "Legato Link" together with the 20bit conversion makes a very real and impessive difference. I had previously bought and returned a JVC and Kenwood changer; the JVC would hang up on almost every disc and the Kenwood just started churning its rack. I decided to go for quality and am not sorry.
