The best partner to the Musical FidelityX-24K DAC

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

What would be the best DVD player to partner with the X-24K for 24/96 bit audio reproduction? I'm thinking of the Sony DVP-S7700, but I don't know if it can output 96khz-sampled S/PDIF digital datastream.
