Hi Todd,

The Sonys that I have are the Metal SR model. Sony has another tape called the "Metal Master" which, I believe, is their top-of-the-line analog cassette tape. Check out netmarket.com, where I saw both of these listed. The SR's are as low as about $21 for a 10-pack of 100-minute tapes. The Metal Masters are something like $130 for a 10-pack.
